Overall pretty good. The staff was amazing. We had a reservation for our anniversary last year and they decorated our table in little hearts. Food was good. A little pricey for what it was, but enjoyable and made well. They were able to write a cute note with dessert too. Overall, staff and atmosphere was the best part. Would go again, but only for special occasions.
The Black Cow Fat Pig offers a great selection with their regular menu on top of their daily and nightly specials. My favorite is stopping in for the lunch special. Amazing food at a price cheaper than stopping for fast food, it's almost unreal. A full bar with plenty to choose from. It's hard to go wrong here.
Stopped for lunch while traveling on a Saturday. No wait, great service and maybe the best (and largest) burgers we’ve ever had: Cowboy Burger and the Black and Bleu. Fries were good, but the burgers were excellent and well worth the price.
Fine dining at affordable prices. I enjoyed a BBQ pulled pork flatbread entree ($7) after an above average house salad ($8) and tall, cold beverage. It was more than a filling finish to a busy day in beautiful outdoor Nebraska. The server provided very good, polished service to our party of three. I will be back, and recommend you check this hidden gem out for yourself.
Plenty of space across the street to park my truck/trailer (the bank had closed by dinner time).
The atmosphere and service were top notch. The food was just “fine”. Was it what we expected, honestly no. Was it bad? Not at all. Certainly not worth the very steep price tag on the steaks, maybe the burgers were a better option. Our server, Juan, was a delight, extremely friendly. The dessert was to die for. We just had overly high hopes on the steak, being in the Midwest, and the steaks were just mediocre. The atmosphere is wonderful, it’s an old warehouse type building, very beautifully remodeled. 👍
Great waitstaff; friendly, pleasant, and attentive! The food was phenomenal. Delicious and attractive. Little extras that make this a must-stop place.
Stopped for the first time. Ordered pig wings hmm BBQ sauce was good but the pig itself was tainted old taste. Should have sent back. Ordered new york cut the server suggested a higher price and better taste. Ok tried it steak definitely had a great flavor grilled medium just a touch over medium but close enough. Wish it was served with bake potato instead of garlic mashed.
Amazing 🤩. The food is phenomenal. Great portions. The atmosphere is great. Our server was super nice. Loved the spectacle of the bananas foster. Bathroom is clean and smells good. Has baby changing area.
